IMP Corporation is carrying out all the process by itself, from enclosure design and development to final stage, which is the inspection of the completed speaker
IMP Corporation is the only company in Korea to have a 3D CNC, and through this, the wood required to make an enclosure accurately produced without an inch of error. This precision not only reduces product deviation to a minimum, but also achieves high productivity and price competitiveness. In addition, it has endless advantages in that it is possible to freely make any number of test samples required for research and development.
We assemble precisely machined enclosure parts through 3D CNC. And before painting, puttying and sanding are done by hand.
Painting the speaker is a very important process. It does not just color the speaker, it protects the speaker from various external contamination. At this time, the quality of the exterior is determined by the type of paint, and IMP Corporation boasts high quality using the finest US-made polyurea coating paint used by high-end overseas brands. Simply using good paint doesn't mean the result is good, so it has to be done by a professional worker, and IMP Corporation meets that.
After painting, the first inspection is carried out, then the second inspection of the passed enclosure is carried out, and if no problem is found, the assembly proceeds. Various materials, including prepared screws and passive networks, are all manually assembled by experienced experts.
The 3rd inspection of the assembled speaker is carried out. The overall product condition, including the appearance, is inspected. After passing, QC finally checks the overall product appearance and then it checks the electrical characteristics. Using equipment and programs such as AP and Smaart Live, measures the frequency response, impedance, polar pattern, etc. to check the product's abnormality. If there is no abnormality, the product's unique barcode is assigned and the box is packaged.
